Now I'm even more confused. I thought Dorothy was a spirit, a powerful one. Now it seems like she's his love. I guess I'll have to read on.
Apparently he found a way to bridge the gap between worlds and was expecting death. The big scrawled words tell me he didn't get what was expected and instead found himself warped by the encounter.
It's very evident that he had a hatred for . . . their kind. Whatever they are.
